Hello

Yoga with Sasha is about coming home to the body, with an acceptance of your body, mind and heart, however you are feeling.

Yoga supports Sasha on her journey through life.

Sasha would love to share her passion for yoga and help support you on your own journey.

YOGA + LIFE JOURNEY

Sasha went to her first yoga class whilst she was an art student in Nottingham in the mid nineteen-nineties. She enjoyed the sensations of relaxation that followed.

Fast forward to London and the noughties, now in her mid thirties, at the end of a long-term relationship Sasha leaned much deeper into yoga.

Sasha originally trained in India between 2012 - 2013, when she completed 400 hours of dynamic yoga training.

However it was when she discovered Yin yoga with Norman Blair in London in 2013, she realised that yoga could also be about letting go, compassion and non striving.

Sasha has since completed over 200 hours in Yin yoga trainings with Norman Blair, Bernie Clark and Paul Grilley.   She has also trained in Restorative yoga with Judith Hanson Lassater and Qi Gong + Vinyasa with Mimi Quo Deemer.

Sasha taught her first classes at Greenpeace UK offices +a gym in Brixton, before teaching at yoga studios across London as well as running her own classes and workshops for ten years.

In 2021 Sasha was diagnosed with an aggressive stage three cancer when she was 46. She went through eighteen months treatment. Yin + Restorative yoga in particular supported Sasha in her recovery from surgery.

Sasha now offers post-treatment, -day retreats for people emerging from cancer treatment.

As her teacher, mentor and friend Norman Blair say’s ‘Life has inevitable difficulties.’

Sasha welcomes everybody to her day retreats and workshops and acknowledges; that each of us come with our own personal story.
